Hamer Hall - Arts Centre Melbourne is located in Melbourne, Australia. It opened in 1982 and is a part of the Arts Centre Melbourne complex. It is the largest performance venue in Victoria, with an impressive auditorium seating up to 2800 people. The stage includes some of the most advanced features of any theatre in the country, and the raked audience seating ensures a full view of the entire stage. Hamer Hall hosts a variety of performances including opera, ballet, musical theatre, classical and contemporary music concerts and comedy prices. It is an iconic and much loved Melbourne venue, renowned for its acoustics and grandiose setting.

Responsible for some of the most revolutionary jazz hits of the 20th century, Wayne Shorter will fill the stage with jazz melodies with three of the world’s finest jazz musicians – Danilo Perez, John Patitucci and Brian Blade – on the closing night of the 2016 Melbourne International Jazz Festival.
