Founded in 1996 by Peanut Butter Wolf aka Chris Manak a self-confessed “Awkward white kid from San Jose” in 1996 Stones Throw Records has become one of the world’s most revered independent record labels. Since the label’s very first release of Charizma and Peanut Butter Wolf’s “World Premiere” Stones Throw has been a home for a number artists including, Madlib, J Dilla, Dam Funk, Andreson.Paak and even Snoop Dogg (Snoopzilla).

To celebrate 20 years of this legendary Los Angeles imprint, Peanut Butter Wolf has assembled some of the labels best known artists including Philly producer MNDSGN, veteran turntabilist J Rocc, Legendary Egyptian Lover and PB Wolf himself, performing a ‘Stones Throw’ only DJ set for a run of shows across Australia and New Zealand. You can catch performances from Stones Throw’s dream-team at Brisbane Festival and Red Bull Music Academy’s Weekender festival in Sydney as well as in Melbourne, Perth, Adelaide and Auckland.
