Strawberry Fields 2016 is coming up quick and what better way to get the festival celebrations started by having a warm up party with the innovators of Detroit techno in Underground Resistance - DJ Assault Squad and one of Netherlands finest techno producers, SQL.

Arteq Productions team up with Strawberry and are preparing a night for the people that love. Held at the newly renovated My Aeon, A finely tuned nightclub in Brunswick which has gained the reputation of the finest sound system in Australia with a fully fitted Funktion One rig on both levels will see these artists deliver a show like none other before. Extensive decor in the courtyard that will get you in the motions for Strawberry Fields 4 day rave along with a hot local lineup that has been hand picked to deliver the best in techno.

For the past year and a half, Arteq have been showcasing their brand of music with the personal tastes of 4 DJ's. Kirk Chetcuti warms the floors. His music is deep and melodic. He enjoys a grungy bassline accompanied by abstract percussion floating in and out. Karl Devic floats between grooving tech house and rythmic techno. With inspirations from DVS1 and Joeski blending through his sets, he'll warm the floors for the heavy hitters. Illuccio is in a world of his own. He defines bush techno with his psychedelic sounds and melodic leads. Playing sets full of his own original, unreleased work gives the listener a fresh faced experience everytime they listen to him play. Machete usually ends an Arteq session with some proper techno. Hypnotic but grooving, with the right amount of hit to close the night.
