I Oh You Presents: Queen's Birthday Eve Party ft. Slum Sociable

Line-up

Event details

Once contained within a Richmond share house, I OH YOU has spread across the country, throwing wild parties, touring international talent (SOHN, EarlWolf, Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs) and putting out local artists, including City Calm Down, DZ Deathrays, Jack River and Violent Soho, as I OH YOU Records.

On Sunday June 11th, I OH YOU excitedly return to Melbourne with a jam packed lineup featuring live sets from:

Slum Sociable

Melbourne’s Slum Sociable are Edward Quinn and Miller Upchurch, formed at university after being introduced by a mutual friend.

The duo released their debut EP TQ in 2015 and its charm saw Slum Sociable cut through internationally, gracing the Top 5 of the Hype Machine charts, appearing on a host of Spotify playlists and receiving love from global radio station Beats 1. It also saw the duo release a single via tastemaker label Kitsune and tour globally: playing a string of headline dates in the UK and US on top of sold‐out shows back home.

The duos latest single 'Name Call' adds to Slum Sociables already impressive repertoire. Steeped in groove, and merging soul with hip‐hop and electronica, 'Name Call' is the first cut from the subversive Melbourne duos awaited debut album.

Christopher Port

Melbourne-based producer, drummer and now vocalist, Christopher Port has just released his debut EP Vetement via Pieater. Port delivers a unique take on garage dance music, the depths of his talent and will no doubt be taking us on a journey through his widely lauded original productions.

Plus DJ sets from party starters Total Giovanni, Rainbow Connection and I OH YOU DJs taking us through the night until it’s time for Lizzy to blow out her candles and make a wish. See you on the dancefloor!
