CANOPY #10
MESSY MAMMALS (LIVE)
messy mammals is formed of two homie sapiens: Asha Trips (bass + vocals) & Fionn Brewer (production + guitar). Their music could be described as "warped pop", and incorporates electronica, trip hop, nu jazz, and more of their favourite styles and influences. The duo have been very busy recently; writing and releasing new music and videos, and working on other creative bits and pieces, whilst also racking up gigs and radio plays. After support from PBS, FBi, 4ZZZ, Pilerats, Happy Mag and more, their track "Wish I'd Said" has also just been picked up by Triple J, with Linda Marigliano giving it a spin on "Good Nights". With even more music and creative adventures planned in 2017, Messy Mammals are definitely turning the fader up several notches this year. Like mammals do, their original sound is constantly-evolving.

ADRIANA
Adriana radio host of PBS FM's 'Opalakia' passionately journeys around the globe week in week out; immersing you into the sensuous sounds of the Mediterranean, the Middle East and everything in between. Her energetic DJ sets are no different; incorporating elements of world, disco and soulful/tribal house don't be surprised if her soundscape takes you to another time or another place.

CARA MIA
Cara Mia represents the new breed of soulful sisters heralding change in the usually male-dominated framework of the Melbourne scene centring her collection loosely between beats and boogie, with the occasional nod to classic disco, modern house and future soul sounds. No stranger to the Melbourne nightlife and curating a couple of her own nights focusing on local talent and unique sounds, she has held down a list of popular haunts that include The Croft Institute, Loop, Howler, Section 8, Workshop, Bimbos and Joey Smalls.
