Romy Vager is the front woman for local Melbourne band RVG. She writes songs about aliens, computers and capital punishment. In her solo set she plays stripped back versions of songs from RVG's debut 2017 release ' Quality of Mercy', a featured album on RRR and PBS, as well as other songs old and new. "What makes these songs so moving is not Vager's voice itself but her delivery. Her fierceness, her flow and how clear it is she's singing about what she knows.
