Hailing from Conant Gardens Detroit, Waajeed’s productions through the years have been known as both inventive and genre-defying. Of recent years and with a more dance floor orientated mindset, Waajeed launched Dirt Tech Records as well as collaborating on tracks with Mad Mike Banks, Theo Parrish and Amp Fiddler.
A club kid in Paris in the early 00s and inspired by great artists of the time Dan Ghenacia, Ivan Smagghe, Ricardo Villalobos and Luciano, Djebali was ultimately drawn into life, first gracing the decks of a club in 2001. However, his deep love of music did not end there and he ended up graduating with a first class degree from the presitigious SAE Institute of Paris.
