HARM REDUCTION SAVES LIVES After our first successful gig we are back with another great lineup for a great cause. The Victorian state government recently announced that they would not consider a supervised injection facility (SIF) despite all the evidence and experts saying that it would lead to harm reduction. The same goes for pill testing at festivals and nightclubs. The ACT government has recently announced that they would allowe on site pill testing at the Spilt Milk festival. We should remember that it was the hard work of many activists who have made this possible. But the Victorian government are still continuing with the law and order approach as they are more concerned with gaining votes that saving lives. It is time for us as a community to priorotise all of our safety and to provide the services needed to do so. The money raised at this gig will be used to fund pill testing as well as a SIF. We want to engage in peaceful direct action to put pressure on the government to put lives ahead of votes. So come on down for a good time and to support the cause!
