Yothu Yindi & The Treaty Project With Benny Walker & DJ Gavin Campbell Sunday 19 November Inspired by the new remix package celebrating the 25th anniversary of “Treaty (Filthy Lucre Remix)”, ARIA Hall of Fame inductees Yothu Yindi reunite with Gavin Campbell, (founding member of Filthy Lucre) in a reinvigorated formation featuring original Yothu Yindi members and special guests. Yothu Yindi & The Treaty Project will perform the band’s classic hits as well as brand new material, all with an electronic twist, as a cross-generational celebration of cultural diversity. Founding members Witiyana Marika, Stuart Kellaway and Malangay Yunupingu will be joined by the popular Indigenous singer/songwriters Yirrmal, Constantina Bush and Yirrnga Yunupingu, with keyboard player & saxophonist Ania Reynolds and guitarist Megan Bernard, both also on vocals. Special guest will be renowned Indigenous singer/songwriter Benny Walker, whose love songs and epic tales are mixed with passion for the land, the people, summer vibes and deep grooves. Gavin Campbell will keep the party going after his bandmates leave the stage, with one of his legendary DJ sets.
