Australian Festival of African Film presents: Films from urban Africa. You are invited to our fundraiser scheduled for November 20 at Loop Project Space Bar, Melbourne CBD. The event will feature spoken word artists from the African diaspora and screen Accra Power and Black Barbie, by award winning female film makers Comfort Arthur (Ghana) and Sandra Krampelhuber (Austria). Ticket price: $22 full price, $19 concession Pizza available to order before the event to be delivered half way though the movie. Raffle and prizes to be won! The event aims to inspire new friendships and collaborations across the local screening community and connect film makers across continents. Pledges collected will go toward funding the Australian Festival of African Film in Melbourne in 2018.
