The Night Cat is a multi-function live music venue located on Johnston St in the trendy suburb of Fitzroy, Melbourne. With a stylish yet relaxed vibe, The Night Cat is open seven nights a week and plays host to a range of leading DJ’s and live bands from various genres of music. The venue has two main areas – a bar where you can enjoy a drink and watch performances, and a dance floor area to really get the night going. Food is also served most nights, providing something to eat as you set yourself up for a night of partying. After a week of hopefully celebrating a great big rainbow coloured win for marriage equality, CLOSET is returning to the Fitzroy 'hood to keep the post-results party going. On Nov 24, CLOSET is paying respect to legend of comedy Magda Szubanski who has fought bravely and tireless on behalf of us all. Our second last hurrah of 2017, we will have some surprises in store as we get ready to drop the lineup for Gaytimes 2018.
