Beverley Wang and a panel of special guests are taping the season two finale in front of a live audience in Melbourne, and you should be there! Paola Balla, Santilla Chingaipe and Benjamin Law will be on stage for the diversity panel to ~end~ all diversity panels. The inaugural Lisa Bellear Indigenous Research Scholar at Moondani Balluk Indigenous Academic Centre, VU, Balla is a PhD candidate in Aboriginal women's art and resistance. Most recently she co-curated Sovereignty at ACCA with Max Delany. BENJAMIN LAW is a journalist, columnist, TV screenwriter and author of The Family Law (2010) and Gaysia: Adventures in the Queer East (2012). His most recent book is the Quarterly Essay on Safe Schools – Moral Panic 101. He’s the creator and co-writer of The Family Law, now an AACTA-nominated TV series for SBS. SANTILLA CHINGAIPE is an award winning journalist and documentary filmmaker. She spent seven years working for SBS World News which saw her report from Kenya, South Sudan, Tanzania and Zambia and interview some of Africa’s most prominent leaders. Her work explores contemporary migration, cultural identities and politics. Chingaipe writes regularly for The Saturday Paper. Moderator: BEVERLEY WANG is a journalist, host and creator of the ABC podcast It’s Not A Race, and Executive Producer of RN Drive. Originally from Canada, Beverley moved to Australia in 2009. She was recently featured in Rolling Stone as one of 18 notable women shaping the culture of tomorrow. Music: YEO is a Melbourne-based musician, producer and multi-instrumentalist. His latest album Desire Path (2017) sees his most collaborative collection, following on from his breakthrough record Ganbaru (2016). Alongside studio releases, Yeo is the music director for Emma Louise and Charlz, and producer for artists such as Asta and Charlie Lim. -- About Audiocraft: AUDIOCRAFT is an independent organisation for radiomakers and podcasters.
