The Night Cat is a multi-function live music venue located on Johnston St in the trendy suburb of Fitzroy, Melbourne. With a stylish yet relaxed vibe, The Night Cat is open seven nights a week and plays host to a range of leading DJ’s and live bands from various genres of music. The venue has two main areas – a bar where you can enjoy a drink and watch performances, and a dance floor area to really get the night going. Food is also served most nights, providing something to eat as you set yourself up for a night of partying. The Night Cat is the perfect spot for a fun night out; come and experience for yourself the fabulous atmosphere and great memories that will last a lifetime.

Southern Comfort are proud to present Southern Sounds, a string of curated nights inspired by the spirit of New Orleans - set to descend upon some of Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane’s most celebrated venues this summer throughout January and February 2018. Southern Comfort have handpicked some of their favourite Australian acts to celebrate the diverse and thriving culture of New Orleans, a city built on a love of live music. For its second instalment Southern Sounds is heading to Melbourne’s The Night Cat on January 18th, where Oscar Key Sung will lay down powerful, contemporary beats, with support from Melbourne’s own S I L E N T J A Y (live) and Mira Boru.
