Event details

There are few days better to party than Australia Day; few places better to gather than Prince; and few people better to provide the soundtrack than house heavyweight MK.

With a 500+ strong discography, including a #1 hit in the UK with his rework of Storm Queen’s “Look Right Through”, MK is more than qualified to bring the spice to any celebration.

Like many of house music’s greatest, Marc Kinchen’s story began in Detroit, where he started making music at age fourteen, and grew up watching Derrick May and Kevin Saunderson playing at his local nightclub. By the early nineties, MK was regarded as one of the greatest producers in the genre; a title that he still holds today.

MK’s career has spanned decades, during which he's trotted the globe, playing tracks from his 500+ strong discography to audiences at some of the worlds most renowned festivals and events. His work in music has seamlessly transitioned through electronic to mainstream; from house, to techno, to hip-hop; and now, he is bringing his craft down-under.

This January, Prince, Tiny Dancer & Thick As Thieves are teaming up to bring you an evening like no other – an intimate club show with MK, beneath the flags.

Local supports to be announced.
