After working against the clock for the past six months, bedroom novice Hugh Fuchsen has conjured some magic to share with the world. The 23 year-old’s curiosity led him to clean up his brother’s old guitar, and start playing again. Fuchsen’s new release is projected from the boy within, with a lot to say about adult frustration and childhood fantasies. It has a stomping tempo that says Kurt Vile all over it, and you could almost say that Neil Young joined in on the boxy guitar melodies. The show will be a remedy to all willing and able, because Charisma is Fuchsen’s middle name when it comes to taking on The Toff.
