AUSTRALIA’S WHO’S WHO IN ROCK N ROLL TOGETHER IN A TRIBUTE TO MALCOLM YOUNG Onsale Monday 18th December On Saturday February 17, some of the biggest names in Australian rock and roll royalty will congregate on Melbourne’s Corner Hotel, getting together in tribute for fellow rock legend and AC/DC co-founder Malcolm Young, who succumbed to his battle with dementia in November (2017). Feb 17th also coincides with the release date of AC/DC's first album High Voltage - Released in 1974 Some Iconic Australian Artists will be announced as guests in early 2018 Melbourne's WHOLE LOTTA ROSIE band – a band already known for electrifying crowds with its fierce line-up of Aussie rockers playing the best of AC/DC which included an exclusive and special one off show at THE GERSHWIN ROOM in THE ESPY in November – plus the addition of Australian pub rock icons will band together for one night of AC/DC classics, celebrating the life of Malcolm Young. The event will also be raising awareness and much needed funds for the Dementia Foundation to help in the battle of this debilitating disease that forced Malcolm to an early retirement as guitarist for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame-inducted band. All the profits on the night will be donated to the Dementia Foundation. The Dementia Foundation for Spark of Life is a health promotion charity that supports raising funds towards education in the profound Spark of Life Philosophy. Spark of Life is about enriching human relationships and creating a positive and supportive social environment for people with dementia to live as valued members of the community.
