Event details

Sex toys have been used to treat "hysteria", sold as "novelty use only" and have even been outlawed in some parts of the world! But what if we did away with the shame and the mystery and sex toys were just tools we utilised during sex? In this workshop, sex educator and empathy expert Kate Kenfield will show you how toys can become a natural extension of your solo or partnered play, how technology can make our lives more pleasurable, what to look for when choosing a sex toy and how to build a collection without blowing your budget. You’ll leave this workshop armed with practical knowledge about sex toys and other pleasure items, as well as plenty of tips for talking about toys with your partner/s. And you can test your newfound knowledge in our Sex Toy or What? quiz on the night - complete with fun prizes from Nikki Darling! Our previous workshops with Kate have sold out, so don't miss this opportunity to learn from the best! Nikki Darling will have free safer sex and pleasure samples available for all attendees, as well as a special discount voucher for use on nikkidarling.com.au. Loop has an extensive drinks menu and light meals and snacks will be available (please feel free to enjoy dinner before or even during the workshop - Loop staff are experts at stealth-delivering pizza right to your seat!) Note: There will be some opportunities for contributing to light whole-group discussion, but no required participation or interaction between participants. -------------------------- About Kate Kate Kenfield is a speaker, writer, and empathy educator.
