Off the back of the release of ‘Mainland’ – the first taste of new music from Melbourne outfit Rolling Blackouts Coastal Fever – the band are excited to announce the ‘Mainland’ tour, which will kick off prior to their US, Canada, UK & European tour. They play in their hometown of Melbourne on Saturday April 7 at Howler. Recorded in a secluded house in the Northern NSW wilderness, 'Mainland' (currently on rotation across triple j, FBi & more) marks the first taste of new music from the band since the release of their lauded 2017 EP The French Press. The EP landed on many 'Best Of 2017' lists, including The Guardian/The Observer 'Hidden Gems'. Meanwhile, lead single 'French Press' was the sixth most played song on triple j in 2017, and made countless end-of-year lists including coming in at #10 on Rolling Stone’s Best Songs of 2017. 'Mainland’ boasts the same urgency as tracks like 'Clean Slate' and 'Sick Bug' that helped bring the band to the attention of punters and won them critical acclaim.
