The venue has strong heritage, and stands on the site of the 1915 Royal Easter Showgrounds, which were originally built on the orders of NSW Governor Macquarie. It has a capacity of up to 12,000 people and has hosted a wide range of music and comedy events, as well as movie premieres, special occasions and more.
