Earning her stripes in a myriad of different spaces around town, she’s created a sound that is truly her own. What gives her the edge is sheer versatility – you’re just as likely to hear bleeding-edge techno alongside tech house, house and disco all in the space of one beer. Hapno is the sound and it sure ain’t coming from anyone else. From the age of 14 years, Sunshine knew she wanted to be a DJ. She remembers being on the dance floor at a rave in Perth and being blown away by the energy the DJ created by mixing two records together and knew that’s what she wanted to do with her life. Fast forward to now and she couldn’t be happier with how its all come together. Apart from dominating the Melbourne club scene for well over a decade, she’s also been a resident DJ at Revolver Saturday mornings for 14 years.
