A showcase for some of New Zealand’s youngest musicians, The Kids Sing is the national competition and festival for Primary and Intermediate school choirs. During daytime sessions, competitive choirs present a recital comprising one compulsory piece and several pieces of their own choosing including a NZ piece (choirs that enter non-competitively choose their own repertoire.) Evening Gala Concerts provide an opportunity for each choir the opportunity to perform the best of their pieces, as well as participate in a massed performance of the compulsory piece, and the presentation of awards. Come and support the performers of the future! Entry to daytime sessions in the Town Hall is $2.
