Paired with the announcement of a national tour this November and December, the duo reveal new single Faces via Wonderlick Recordings. The first bite of their third studio album is a fearless left turn and unlike anything you have heard from the union of Tim Carroll and Oscar Dawson before. From the first listen, the opening vocal hook drags you by the ears through an experimental mini-epic. Produced by HOLY HOLY this time round, and mixed by Rich Costey (Arctic Monkeys, Chvrches, Muse, HAIM, Franz Ferdinand), Faces sees HOLY HOLY moving away from their trademark solos and riffs in favour of sampled vocal loops and programmed synth bass lines, on top of layers of live and programmed beats. Ainslie Wills and Ali Barter add their vocal colour to the main motif and Japanese Wallpaper provides his trademark synths and tonal vision to the track.
