Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs (DJ set) w/ special guests Saturday December 8th at Xe54, Melbourne Tickets at the door. --------------------------------------------------------- Following his recent signing to I OH YOU/Liberator Music, we’re pleased to announce that Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs (TEED) will return to Australia this December for two highly anticipated and extra sweaty DJ sets in Sydney and Melbourne. TEED is a favourite in Australia having previously appeared at Falls Festival, Listen Out, Beyond The Valley and Field Day. After a four year break from releasing new material, TEED returned in June with the delicate ‘Leave A Light On’. Following this, he has dropped a new track each month, including the emotional ballad turned R&B foot stomper ‘Don’t You Forget About Me’, plus two energetic and fiery dancefloor fillers ‘Body Move’ and ‘Energy Fantasy’. ‘Leave A Light On’ and ‘Body Move’ were picked up by the likes of triple j, FBi, Triple R and RTRFM, and the new songs have received acclaim from The Fader, DIY, Acid Stag, Stoney Roads and fellow artists such as Foals, Boyz Noise, Deadmau5 and RUFUS DU SOL. Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs, born Orlando Higginbottom, is a producer, songwriter, vocalist, composer and DJ. Now based in Los Angeles, he grew up in England, where his father was professor of music at Oxford University’s New College. Raised on classical music, he discovered jungle and drum n’ bass as a teen at Oxford’s legendary record shop Avid. Dropping in and out of university whilst working on music, early TEED demos were discovered by Huw Stephens (BBC Radio 1) and Greco Roman Records. His debut album Trouble was released in 2012 to great critical acclaim, and led to several years touring a now legendary live show.
