Event details

After a thumping first year The Cable Ties Ball returns to the grand hall of the Corner Hotel. Seven of the finest bands across two glittering stages. As ever, pure decadence and refined entertainment abound. The sewer techno and brain melting visuals of friendships; filthy Brisbane rock animals HITS; rising rapper P-UniQue; astonishing Auckland noise-punks Wax Chattels; the stadium RSL rock of Porpoise Spit and the overdriven wallop of power trio Moody Beaches join your hosts Cable Ties for a night for the ages. Some of Melbourne's finest DJs will take the evening into the wee small hours as glowing amp stacks give way to dance floor excess. We are delighted that Paul Gorrie, Sullivan and DJ Airhorn Mamii will keep the party rolling well into Sunday. Get ritz'd in your finest velvet, leather, sequins or denim and join us for The Cable Ties Ball.
