Victoria Park is a historic local sporting reserve located in the inner-city suburb of Sydney, Broadway. It opened in 1905 and is named after Queen Victoria, the former reigning monarch of the United Kingdom. Spanning more than five hectares of parkland, the park is a popular recreational hub for sports, fitness, and leisure activities. Victoria Park boasts a variety of features and facilities including a cricket oval, football fields, basketball court, netball courts, and a children's playground. There is also a jogging track that circles the park, a cafe, and a newly-renovated community centre. Visitors are welcome to enjoy a range of activities at any time of year.
