Hippo Campus’s inaugural Australian visit will see them hit the road off the back of their sophomore LP ‘Bambi’ – released in September on Transgressive Records (Julia Jacklin, Flume, SOPHIE, Alvvays). Filled with tracks that endlessly morph in mood and texture, the five-piece approached the making of the album with an eye toward the undoing of any distorted, social-media-fuelled perceptions of the band.
