The 24-year old has a fistful of releases under his belt and a sound that is the distillation of a myriad of influences from hip-hop cut 'n paste culture, 80s Eurobeat, hi-NRG and Italo into lithe, irresistible, raw dancefloor trax. His debut album, Family Portrait, released on Brainfeeder, has already been described as one of the year's best releases, and as PopMatters remarked in their review: "It's an album you can easily disappear into from one of electronic music's most thrilling new talents" For the dynamic Ross From Friends live set, Felix enlists the skills of two friends to build out his arrangements – John Dunk on sax and keys and Jed Hampson on electric guitar. - - - - - - Bizarro and the artists involved would like to acknowledge the Wurundjeri peoples of the Kulin Nation as the traditional owners of the land we hold this event on.
