EXTRA SHOW ADDED!!! PHILIP H. ANSELMO & THE ILLEGALS (USA) + KING PARROT with special guests: Black Rheno Due to popular demand a second Melbourne show has been added for Philip H. Anselmo and The Illegals and King Parrot at The Corner Hotel on Thursday 4th of April. They’ve also added a trip to Tasmania for an appearance at The Brisbane Hotel on Friday 5th of April. These will be the final shows added to the Australian / New Zealand tour for both bands and are expected to sell out. Support for both of these shows will be Sydney’s grinding groove lords Black Rheno who are gearing up to release their debut album in 2019. Phil Anselmo and his Illegals have recently released their second offering “Choosing Mental Illness as a Virtue” and have received high praise from all over the globe with Blabbermouth quoting, “Undeniably metal’s most known and notorious figure has truly come back to life and revitalized his music career”. On top of creating some of the most innovative extreme metal in the world today, The Illegals have recently embraced the Pantera back catalogue, adding a healthy mix of the legendary bands most powerful anthems. Contributing to the madness are Housecore Records label mates and Melbourne’s own grind exponents King Parrot. After bunkering down over summer to begin preparations on a new album, King Parrot are chomping at the bit to hit the road through Australia and New Zealand to kick off what will be a busy touring schedule for the boys through 2019 “I’m looking forward to getting back over to Australia & soaking up the killer vibes...touring with King Parrot on their turf is an honour...let the absurdities commence!” Phil Anselmo.
