Drew says: Ahhh Newie. Sweet memories of this place! Great people, Great beaches, legendary feeds at Jonesy's House and the Cambridge Hotel! I clearly remember playing a show here on one of our first Australian tours, and then again shortly after for the very first gig of the national 'New Normal' Tour with Cog and In They Grey. The shows were intense and energetic, as were the sounds of a some local Newcastle wildlife trying their best to conceive their mammalian offspring up against the shared wall of our room upstairs. I remember this moment with clarity as it awoke me in a cold VB and cheap tequila sweat. I vomitted a little in my mouth and then rolled over, spooning my nearest band mate as I drifted back to sleep thinking "ahhh This is what touring is all about"
