For their first time in Australia - The Filth Hounds of Hades themselves, bring their heavy artillery Downunder!!! Formed in 1980, Tank has often been compared to British brothers Motörhead - both being trios, fronted by singing bassists, with a loose, grinding, punk-metal sound and gravelly vocals.
The release of their legendary 1982 debut Filth Hounds of Hades, cemented Tank’s position as NWOBHM royalty, as the album was received enthusiastically by music fans, critics and industry folk alike. The album to this day is regarded as one of the best albums of the NWOBHM movement.
Guitarists Mick Tucker and Cliff Evans are back with a full band including David Readman (PINK CREAM 69) on vocals, Randy Van Der Elsen on bass and longterm TANK member and former SODOM drummer Bobby Schottkowski.
TANK also descend Downunder with a NEW ALBUM, a tribute to early TANK days, with 11 classic TANK songs re-imagined, and spanning four albums. With exclusive guest appearances from CRADLE OF FILTH frontman Dani Filth, thrash legend Tom Angelripper of SODOM, as well as members of MICHAEL SCHENKER GROUP and DARK ANGEL!!!

GIRLSCHOOL are a British rock band that formed in the new wave of British heavy metal scene in 1978, frequently associated with contemporaries Motörhead. They are the longest-running all-female rock band, still active after almost 40 years. Formed from a school band called Painted Lady, GIRLSCHOOL enjoyed strong media exposure and commercial success in the UK in the early 1980s with three albums of 'punk-tinged metal' and a few singles, that placed them up there with the legends of NWOBHM.
In the 1990’s and 2000’s, GIRLSCHOOL focused on shows and tours and made a few studio albums. During their career they travelled the world, playing in many rock and metal festivals and co-headlining with or supporting important hard rock and heavy metal bands. They maintain a worldwide cult following and are an inspiration for many female rock musicians.
We'll never have Motörhead again, but we can have their mates.

Hailing from Newcastle Upon Tyne in North East England back in 1974 (yes – 45 YEARS ago!!!) the brothers Gallagher cut their teeth playing the pubs & clubs until solidifying their line up in 1980 with drummer Rob Hunter. The trio went on to release three of the most influential metal albums of the NWOBHM (New Wave Of British Heavy Metal) genre on the Neat records label which in turn inspired every band of that era and beyond. Basically, without RAVEN you just might not have had thrash/speed metal. After all, the band did give Metallica & Anthrax their first tours!
