The Tote is an historic Venue located in Collingwood, Melbourne. Established in 1982, The Tote had previously been a church hall, a funeral parlour, and a post office. It is known for its legendary punk shows and its music heritage. It has hosted artists like The Smiths, You Am I, The Dandy Warhols and many more. Aside from the live music, The Tote also includes a bar and The Public Bar, an area designed for experimental, indie and alternative music styles. It sure is an iconic and historic part of Melbourne’s punk music and live music culture.

Emerson Snowe is thrilled to be releasing his new single 'Human' along with the announcement of his debut EP 'That's Rock 'n' Roll'. Fresh from appearances at SxSW last month, Emerson will quickly return to the international stage, this time to perform showcases at Brighton’s The Great Escape as well as headline shows across the UK and Europe throughout May. To celebrate the release of That’s Rock ‘n’ Roll, Emerson has also announced a six-date headline tour along Australia’s east coast this July.

‘Human’ follows on from previous singles released last year, including the poignant ‘Could You Love Me?’, the infectious ‘Sunlight’ and ‘If I Die, Then I Die’ which has garnered him international recognition most recently on Jack Saunders Next Wave segment on BBC Radio 1.

Emerson Snowe’s impact on music in 2019 will be felt internationally at his live shows and with his debut EP release. His profoundly honest yet unconventional approach to music has already attracted the attention of many of his idols. The last twelve months have seen him garner widespread support from fellow artists, industry and fans, with national tours across Australia for King Krule, Ariel Pink and GUM, along with his own debut headline shows in Australia, the UK, Europe where he will return again this year.
