Christchurch Town Hall is a venue in Christchurch, New Zealand renowned for its impressive architectural features. Built between 1972 and 1975, it was the first major civic building in the Christchurch and Canterbury region. It is situated on the site of the former Christs Church Cathedral and has a large area of over 17,000 square metres. It features a large external scale fountain, auditorium seating for 2200, a state-of-the-art fly tower, and a stunning glass wall atrium lobby. The Town Hall hosts a wide selection of events, including the Christchurch Arts Festival, Symphony Orchestra concerts, and the biennial International Musical Eisteddfod.
