Civic Underground is a nightclub located in the Sydney city centre. Situated at 388 Pitt Street, it hosts vibrant and exciting nights filled with music and events. With a chic interior and the latest sound and light facilities, Civic Underground is a popular spot amongst locals and partygoers. Every Friday and Saturday night they offer a diverse selection of music and themed parties, as well as having live bands, DJ’s and special events during the week. They also offer an impressive, fully-licensed bar, which serves up everything from speciality beers and cocktails to snacks and refreshments. It's back, and in a big, big way.

We celebrate 3 years of SWEAT this August at Civic underground with one of our favourite UK exports, BIG MIZ!

As always we'll be going all out in terms of production and theming.

With the creation of 'FeelsGood!' this year with Odyssey Music, It's been quite a while since we've had the full SWEAT lighting and production in Civic’s basement. Thus, you can expect the iridescent of lighting and production (Completely redesigned) for this special occasion.

BIG MIZ

The up and coming Glaswegian producer and DJ Big Miz has achieved great success very early on in his career through his longstanding appearance on the house and techno scene within his home city. His past project and highly respected club night Offbeat, has been integral to his flexibility as an artist with the continued showcasing of diverse and wide-ranging electronic dance music and his ongoing residency at the fully charged endurance testing events.

Since the days of his early prominence on the clubbing scene Big Miz has progressed and developed into a key producer within the house and techno field reigning in and combining his traditional skills in music with contemporary electronic equipment. His signing with record label Dixon Avenue Basement Jams and succinct releases have aided the young producers formidable and standout force within the increasingly saturated market, encompassing a true representation of Glaswegian passion and musical expectancies as an electronic artist.

Having already played numerous UK and European shows and with a Boiler Room live debut at Sub Club already under his belt, Big Miz is a sure household name for the future of underground music.
