Born in Hawthorne, home of the Beach Boys, the teenage Omar Banos made a splash with his self-produced bedroom pop before going viral with his 2017 smash, 'Lo Que Siento'. He attracted a massive Latino fanbase – the “Cuco Pebbles” – with his quirky, throwback mix of trap beats, trumpets, synths, chilled out melodies and loverlorn lyrics that he performs in a sing-song rap flow of English and Spanish all his own.
