Salmonella Dub Spring shows 2019 Salmonella Dub step out for 7 live shows across Aotearoa & Australia this spring to showcase the bundle of Nu L~bum tunes live amongst a set of old skool classics: Tomfoolery, Slide, Dub Survivor, Tui Dub, Push on Thru, Problems, Freak Local, For the Love of it. Show tickets purchases come with a free exclusive download link to the first bundle of Nu L~bum test masters. Cosmic Ticketing will email a digi link to ticket holders first in the first week of Australasian Spring 2019. The mail out comes with tunes, video footage album launch PLUS a sneaky link to the first pre-order offer for early bird tickets for the bands 2020 tour 2020 tickets will drop in Dec + include a free DSL of the completed album plus half price upsize options for Nu L~bum 12” Vinyl, CD’s and Dub T’s. Joining the lineup for the 2019 Spring shows is the Salmonella Dub Soundsystem featuring The Mighty Asterix and special guest Laughton Kora. The Dub SS will mashup two back to back sets around the band, versioning excursoning across the “Dub’s” extensive 217 track, back catalogue. Tracks began incubating in Ant’s Sydney studio in 2013. Meanwhile Andrew relentlessly toured the Salmonella Dub Soundsystem through Mainland Aotearoa and across Australia as studio sessions moved from Kaikoura to Christchurch and onto Nelson and Sydney. In 2014 the band released their first new material since 2009’s Platinum selling Freak Controller album. Same Home Town dropped in August 2014 celebrating the bands 20th birthday. Dedicated to their hometown Otautahi Christchurch and co produced by Ants this tune was released on 12” vinyl featuring remixes from Dub FX, Tui Soundsystem & Organikismness Same Home Town EP The video directed by Mardo El-Noor features signage from the broken landscape of Otautahi. 2016 saw the release of Searching for the Sun arranged with Ant's at his Smith and Western Studio in Sydney and mixed by David Harrow in his LA studio over December. In 2017 the band released World She Waits featuring Nino Birch from Seminal Wellington band Beat Rhythm Fashion, co produced by Harry Bretherton. WSW was written after the NZ Recorded Music Industries offer to induct Salmonella Dub into the NZ Hall of fame. The band humbly accepted the offer. However, it was not to be. Legacy award winners are asked to choose a kiwi act to represent a song at the induction. Unfortunately Salmonella Dub’s choice of Beat Rhythm Fashion was rejected by the Vodafone Tui awards producers and Salmonella Dub bowed out of the awards In 2018 Salmonella Dub turned 25 and celebrated their birthday by releasing Commercial Grates a best of 30 track pack of radio cuts on January 13th in Hagley Park Christchurch with friends, Tiki Taane, Fat Freddy’s Drop, Trinity Roots, Ladi 6 and Soulware. In July 2018 the band launched their massive 8hr, 10 x 12” albums Deluxe Vinyl Boxset with 40 page historic pictorial book. In 2018 the Salmonella Dub Soundsystem began playing out the bands 3rd Nu L~bum tune Soul Love Trippa while the band worked on another 12 album arrangements with Harry Bretherton.
