Destroy All Lines Present: Cancer Bats Australian Tour 2019 with special guests Totally Unicorn + more to be announced Saturday 12th October Crowbar, Sydney 18+ Doors 8:00 pm Tickets On Sale Thursday 11th July @ 10am http://destroyalllines.lnk.to/canbats --------- Beloved Canadian rock & roll hardcore outfit Cancer Bats have lived and breathed punk rock since their earliest days. Now in support of their new studio album The Spark That Moves, released DIY on their very own Bat Skull Records, Cancer Bats are set to bring that attitude to Australia this October for a run of in your face, no holds barred, punk rock shows alongside home grown talent Totally Unicorn. The Spark That Moves is Cancer Bats at its finest. Combining all of the elements from their last 5 releases, the 11 tracks that make up the album blend together the bands most melodic moments with their most aggressive, becoming a savage sprint of hardcore, punk, sludge, and metal that leaves the listener craving more. Produced by JP Peters (Propagandhi), and mixed by the band’s longtime collaborator and awardwinning producer Eric Ratz, (producer of Hail Destroyer, Bears Mayors Scraps & Bones, and Dead Set On Living). This combination of talent pushed the band’s levels of performance to their sheer limit, results in an absolutely crushing display of power that is The Spark That Moves. Joining Cancer Bats on this furious run of shows is Sydney’s chaotic sweet hearts Totally Unicorn; hot off the heels of releasing their emotionally intense album Sorry. There is no other way to describe a Totally Unicorn set than “an experience”, between the band’s technical proficiency, and vocalist Drew Gardener’s rainbow tie-dyed underpants, the band guarantees you have seen nothing quite like them.
