Co-presented with Outhouse
Instantly recognisable for his post techno, analogue jams, Andy Stott’s mesmerising tracks straddle both darkness and light.
As his Monolake moniker, Robert Henke flexes taut techno encompassed within his characteristic sound design. Audio/Visual artist Robin Fox will guide the viewer on a journey by manipulating the surrounds of Kubik.
Creating music that traverses the spectrum, from supple electronics to brooding and futuristic sounds, Y-L Hooi will set the perfect atmosphere for those who enjoy the darker side of the dance floor.
MMW and Outhouse respectfully acknowledge the Traditional Owners of the land, the Boon Wurrung and Woiwurrung (Wurundjeri) peoples of the Kulin Nation and pays respect to their Elders, past and present. We would like to offer free entry for Aboriginal community members. Please email [email protected] to arrange.
British electronic music producer based in Manchester
Monolake Berlin, GermanyRobert Henke, born in 1969 in Munich. I was always fascinated by technology, wanted to become an enigneer. Some day I discovered Oxygene by Jean Michel Jarre and I could not stop listen to it again and again. I did stupid jobs after school and finally had enough money to buy a Roland Juno-6. Now I was able to create strange electronic sound collages and I played in a bad gothic band.
