The arena is situated at 98 Port Road, Hindmarsh, and is known for hosting many concerts, theatrical shows, sporting games and events. The arena was opened in 1991 and is considered to be one of the premier entertainment facilities in Australia, with some of the world's best artists and entertainers having performed there. It is also the home of the Adelaide 36ers, the Adelaide Lightning and the Adelaide Crows.
