Event details

Mistletone proudly presents the great Cate Le Bon and her band, with special guests to be announced.

Gloriously surreal and unapologetically strange, Welsh avant-pop legend Cate Le Bon has been making her brilliant experimental weirdo art-pop for over a decade now. She recorded her latest, Mercury Prize-shortlisted masterpiece Reward with frequent collaborators, drummer Stella Mozgawa (Warpaint), guitarists Huw Evans (H.Hawkline/Aldous Harding) and Josh Klinghoffer (Red Hot Chili Peppers), saxophonist Stephen Black (Sweet Baboo), and Kurt Vile.

“Surrealist, tactile, against the grain. Welsh polymath Cate Le Bon keeps a steady, curious hand. A ringleader who’s prepared to stake out uncertain territory, she walks the tightrope between krautrock aloofness and heartbreaking tenderness; deadpan served with a twinkle in the eye” – AUNTY MEREDITH

“On her fifth album, the Welsh musician is at her best. The more elaborate and eccentric her music becomes, the more she sounds like herself.” – PITCHFORK
