What a way to bring in the new year. The hill is a happy place, a place where music lovers dreams come true. A 3 day extravaganza of mates base on the stunning sun soaked hills of South Gippsland near Loch Village in a place they like to call ‘The Farm’. Located a mere 90 minute drive from Melbourne, the festival has some of Australia’s finest natural amphitheaters. The exact location is a secret, but once you secure your ticket, the secret will be revealed. The festival offers a huge range of Alternative, Indie and Folk bands, as well as DJs the quench your music needs. However, that’s not all. The festival also hosts a range of unique cultural experiences from art installations, comedians, morning yoga, communal hubs and of course a beautiful natural environment surrounded by incredible views.
NYE on the Hill has no shortage of previous notable headliners including The Smith Street Band, The Kite String Tangle, Sampha the Great, Last Dinosaurs, Ball Park Music and Regurgitator.
NYE on the Hill is run fully independent and is completely BYO, so don’t forget your beers, vodka, whatever you like! If you forget don’t swear, there will also be licensed bars. The doors open at 11am on the 30th of December and close at 5pm on the 1st of January. NYE will be strictly capped at 3,000 attendees, so don’t hold off on buying a ticket.
