Having closed out Let Them Eat Cake in 2018 with an epic b2b set with Jackmaster, and most recently a packed out show at Xe54, we’re counting down the days to his highly anticipated return. Since his career beginnings at the world renowned Sub Club at age 15, Jasper James has carved a name for himself as a leading tastemaker. The DJ and producer has crafted his own signature of off-kilter house music, which fuses elements of techno, and maintains a heavy dance-floor impact throughout. Showcasing sets at fabric, The Warehouse Project, Smartbar, Blitz, Lux, Griessmuehle and ofcourse Sub Club, he has come a long way since his industry beginnings in Glasgow, having now shared the stage with revered artists Gerd Janson, Optimo, and Craig Richards. Following the success of his year-long residency at London’s Phonox in 2015, Jasper moved up to #69 on the Resident Advisors Top 100 DJs, and earned a nomination for DJ Awards Breakthrough DJ in 2016. As a producer, his debut release ‘Sneaky EP’ on Optimo Trax in 2014 stands strong to this day, with other releases on labels Play It Say It, Steel City Dance Discs, and his own imprint Mitchell Street Records asserting his status as one of the best.
