Red Wine Talk

Line-up

Event details

A fantastic showcase of some of the finest acts Norfolk has to offer, a show curated by prestigious contemporary Manchester record label Scruff of The Neck, who have Red Wine Talk hot on their radar. All three bands on the bill are heavily championed by BBC Introducing in Norfolk & have spent recent years playing in the local music circuit, gaining acclaim and refining their sounds.

Red Wine Talk: Not only are Red Wine Talk one of the most promising indie bands coming out of Norwich at the moment, but ‘one of the most promising bands coming out of the UK!’ Following the release and recent success of their debut album ‘The Beauty and Elegance of Drinking Alone’ Red Wine Talk have gone onto headline a stage at Latitude Festival, have been awarded ‘Artist of the Year’ and ‘Song of the Year’ for their single ‘The Halfway House’, from local radio stations, and have headlined and sold out venues around the UK including their recent sell out show at The Waterfront Norwich. Off the back of this Red Wine Talk will be taking to the stage at Epic Studios, to headline their first show presented by Manchester Record Label ‘Scruff of The Neck’.

The Lanes: The Lanes are one of the most popular indie bands Norwich currently has to offer. Having built a solid fan base here, they are expanding their infectious sound nationwide. Having gained fantastic reviews across the board, including from BBC Intro & ThisFeeling with their single ‘There’s A Locked Up Safe’, the Lanes are certainly one of those must see bands. They are one of John Kennedy from Radio X’s ‘favorite new young up and coming bands’.

Amelia Stephanedies & The Lovefools: Another band who are proudly supported by BBC Introducing, Amelia Stephanedies is an accomplished and well decorated singer/songwriter from our fine city who has recently decided to recruit a full band. Their catchy tunes are described by themselves as ‘bubblegum pop’ and we are excited to see them on the big stage.
