Victoria Park is a large public park located in the Abbotsford area of Melbourne. With over 18 hectares of land, it offers a 1.2-kilometre linear pathway, several large open grassy areas, and two playgrounds for children. It is an important historic site in the area, having been established in 1865 as a ‘pleasure ground and recreation reserve'. Victoria Park is popular with sports players, with two cricket ovals and a multi-purpose sports field, which provide opportunities for a wide range of sports. It also features an extensive lawn area that is ideal for picnics.
