St James' Park is a football stadium located in the city centre of Newcastle Upon Tyne, just off Barrack Road. It has been home to Newcastle United Football Club since 1892, making it the fourth oldest stadium in the country. With a current capacity of over 52,000 it is the seventh largest stadium in England. The stadium underwent a major redevelopment in 2000 with works completed the following year. It now features a single-tiered stand on one side, four double-tiered stands on the other sides and a cantilevered roof covering. As part of the redevelopment the stadium was made all-seater. It is now a popular attraction and there is a range of facilities on offer such as hospitality boxes, bars, restaurants and a museum.
