The Quarry is a large outdoor venue in the beautiful town of Shrewsbury in the West Midlands, UK. It can hold up to3,000 people and is a perfect venue for music events and live concerts. The venue has been transformed from an old sand and gravel extraction pit with a natural ampitheatre built in 1970s. It is open all year round and offers an assortment of live music, comedy, theatre and even outdoor cinema. The Quarry is home to some of the biggest and best music festivals in the UK, as well as established events such as Shrewsbury Folk Festival. During the year and for special occasions, it is possible to hire the site for private events. The Quarry also offers a bar, food kiosks and toilet facilities.
