Having already showcased an array of talent at Hold Tight, we are excited to announce our third instalment of the new night, headlined by Ninja Tune's Romare.

The London-based producer is no stranger to our shores, having visited back in late-2015 for a run of dates. Since that visit, he's gone from strength to strength, and this upcoming visit will see him share cuts from his latest record - Love Songs : Part Two - with Australian crowds for the first time. This new release showed Romare expanding, deepening and developing his techniques, with a new approach allowing for more sustained builds in intensity - both within individual ‘songs’ and across the album as a whole. His interesting use of sampling, paired with his vast pool of influences really set him aside as an artist of intrigue, with his pulsating soundscapes perfectly suited for the dance floor. In Australia this visit to play Splendour in the Grass, he'll also supporting label-mate Bonobo at selected shows, with Hold Tight #3 acting as the after party for the Melbourne leg of Bonobo's tour.

Romare will be headlining Hold Tight #3 at Francis 28 on Friday 21 July alongside a field of exciting locals, including a DJ set from Melbourne-producer Planète who'll be celebrating the release of his new single. Also appearing at Splendour in the Grass this year, and having already support Romare on his last trip, the skilled producer will be joined by DJ sets from Shedbug & Rudolf C, Cool Anna vs Kasun, and Funkhouser.
