In 2016 Melbourne rapper dropped his 2nd mixtape “Palm Trees In Graveyards” to rave reviews from Complex AU, Pilerats, Acclaim & Happy Mag that saw him play alongside Nasty Mars & Manu Crooks to a sold out Boney crowd for Thank Guard. In early 2017 while finishing off his debut EP “Rainy Weather Music” Charlie Threads linked up with Melbourne artist-producer Alice Ivy to feature on her latest track “Get Me A Drink” alongside E^ST, a single that soon got added to high rotation on triple j. As a result, he found himself hitching on for a whirlwind start to the year; sharing the stage for her shows at the Corner Hotel (supporting Urthboy), the inaugural Pitch Festival, Groovin The Moo & her sold-out headline show at Northcote Social Club. Gearing up for a packed July & August, Charlie Threads will commence his winter tour in support of his debut single “Head In The Clouds” alongside Villette & Nasty Mars at Section 8, before a pair of headline shows in Melbourne & Sydney and fundraiser for OxJam at The Penny Black Melbourne.
