Event details

Joe Mungovan and Greta Stanley combine for an intimate national co-headline tour that is not to be missed! JOE MUNGOVAN At the age of nine, a young Joe Mungovan would never have imagined that begging his parents “for a drum kit for Christmas” would pave his way into some of the most prestigious stages in Australia. The now singer/songwriter, crashed his skateboard at the age of 13, leaving him unable to play his drumkit and in a wheelchair for 4 months. In that time, Joe taught himself guitar and unconsciously developed a style that blends indie folk and pop together to produce his unique style. With attention to articulate lyrics, catchy melodies and rhythmic detail, Joe’s songs express his genuine emotion. His authenticity and passion is conveyed in his intimate live show, and is an experience not worth missing. GRETA STANLEY After a hectic two years following the release of her Debut EP ‘Bedroom City’, 22-year-old songstress Greta Stanley is about to unpack a suitcase of brand new songs into the homes of her adoring listeners later this year. In the mean-time she’s rolling up her sleeves and hitting the road again with a new single ahead of an LP release in October. Her debut album, produced by Mark Myers (ex The Middle East), is a biographical look into the mind of a girl discovering who she is, and where she belongs. Greta was born in Townsville and when she was eight years old her family moved to a small and very beautiful rural town called Mena Creek in Far North Queensland. An introverted child, Greta’s father bought her a guitar at aged 13 and from that time on she almost obsessively started writing music, building herself a sanctuary in her bedroom and immersing herself in her own creative reality.
