Hackney Empire is a Grade II listed Edwardian music hall in London. Located on Mare Street in Hackney, it has been entertaining audiences since 1901. The venue provides a range of entertainment options, from comedy to musicals, dance and live music. It is also home to the BBC’s Main Stage at Radio 2 and Mirth, Music and Magic every Christmas. The spacious auditorium can seat over 1500 people, with a balcony and boxes for an extra intimate experience. Alongside its live programme, the Empire also hosts film screenings, kids’ theatre shows and a diverse range of community activities.
