Bolesworth Castle is a magnificent building situated in the picturesque Chester countryside. Built in the 14th century, the castle was converted into a country house in the 18th century and much of its original architecture still stands today. The castle is surrounded by 500 acres of rolling parkland, which include formal gardens, woodland, lakes, and a large deer park. There is also a popular eventing and show jumping course, attracting riders from all over the world. The grounds are also home to other attractions such as a tea room, farm shop, walks and trails, and an adventure park for children. During the summer the castle holds an annual Music, Food and Country Fair, a popular event for the whole family.
